1888 Warrnambool Cheese & Butter (WCB) Company established
1929 Built third factory on current site, after two fires
1935 Commenced affiliation with Kraft
1956 Purchased Sungold Milk brand and business with Kraft
1986 Became full owner of Sungold Milk
1993 Commissioned new cheese and WPC plant
1997 Purchased Mil Lel and Simpson plants from Kraft
1998 Built new milk powder plant
2002 Established sales office in Tokyo, Japan
2004 Built new fresh milk processing plant
2004 Listed on ASX
2005 Upgraded cheese capacity
2007 Upgraded butter-making technology and capacity
2009 Entered into joint venture with Friesland Foods
2008 Established 'WCB Japan' as a sales and distribution company
2009 Opened 'Great Ocean Ingredients'
2012 Upgraded capacity for Sungold Milk
2013 Developed Great Ocean Road branded cheese and fresh milk for Coles supermarkets
2013 Built Lactoferrin plant
2014 Saputo purchased 87.92% of WCB shares
2015 Acquisition of Everyday Cheese business of Lion Dairy & Drinks
2017 Saputo Inc. acquired remaining WCB shares to assume 100% ownership
